Plustek OpticSlim 1180 is a high-end A3 document scanner designed to scan large format prints such as posters, photographs, albums, genealogical research, newspapers, historical sources, and all types of documents up to 30.48 cm x 43.18 in. cm.
The OpticSlim 1180 features four programmable buttons (one-touch buttons) that automate and simplify most common tasks during the scanning process (eg Scanning, OCR, PDF, and E-mail).
The software package included with the scanner includes useful tools such as image processing, document management, PDF creation, accurate optical character recognition (OCR), and compatibility with most scanning applications, the universal TWAIN driver.
